Liquid Injection
Our standard, highly effective method. A slow-release N-P-K blend plus micro-nutrients injected in a grid pattern under the canopy.
Restore depleted urban soil. Our high-pressure injection method delivers custom nutrient blends directly to the root zone, correcting chlorosis and boosting immunity.
In a forest, decaying leaves recycle nutrients. In your yard, we rake them away. Combined with Austin's **alkaline soil** (High pH), this locks up critical nutrients like Iron and Manganese. Surface fertilizers for grass rarely reach tree roots deep down.
We don't spray the lawn. We use a probe to inject liquid fertilizer 6-12 inches deep under high pressure. This fractures compacted soil (aeration) while placing nutrients exactly where feeder roots can absorb them.
Look for these visual distress signals indicating nutrient deficiency.
Chlorosis: Yellow leaves with green veins usually mean Iron deficiency, common in Red Oaks.
Leaves are smaller than normal or the canopy is thinning? Nitrogen levels may be critically low.
Dead twigs at the ends of branches suggest the tree cannot pump water/nutrients to its extremities.
Stressed trees attract borers and aphids. Healthy trees produce natural chemical defenses.

For yellowing Oaks. We use chelated iron or trunk injections to bypass alkaline soil and rapidly green up the foliage.
Drilling holes and filling them with organic compost. Best for severely compacted soil or trees recovering from construction.
We inspect leaves and soil to determine the specific deficiency (Nitrogen, Iron, etc.).
We create a custom tank mix tailored to your tree species and the season.
Using a pressurized probe, we inject the solution 8-12 inches deep in a grid pattern.
Roots absorb nutrients immediately. Visual improvement usually seen within 2-4 weeks.
Invest in health today to avoid removal costs tomorrow.
Price depends on trunk diameter (DBH). Minimum trip charge applies.
Discounted rate for treating multiple trees on the same property.
Spring & Fall treatments + Summer drought check.
*Final quote provided onsite. Trunk injections for severe decline may cost more.
For most urban trees in Austin, we recommend deep-root fertilization once or twice a year—typically in early spring (to fuel new growth) and late fall (to store energy for winter).
Yes. Because we inject the solution below the surface (6-12 inches deep), there is no chemical residue left on the grass or soil surface. It is safe to play on immediately after application.
Lawn fertilizer is high in Nitrogen, which promotes grass but can actually burn tree roots or encourage weak, rapid growth. Trees need a balanced mix with micronutrients that lawn granules don't provide.
